Kelly Crosby, LMT

Massage Therapy

Tues - Fri, 9am - 2pm, by appointment

Professional Training and Background: Kelly started back in 1982, taking private massage workshops and classes. By 1985, she was a Licensed Massage Therapist. She earned a Science, Pre-Physical Therapy degree from OSU in 1996. She was fortunate to have had excellent teachers and she owes much to them for giving her a strong knowledge-base and for her current success as a therapist. She has worked in various Naturapathic Clinics and private massage businesses in Corvallis before joining the team at the Northwest Health and Healing Center.

Treatment Philosophy: Kelly discovered Massage Therapy at a young age and found a passion for it. It gives her a great sense of purpose to be of service to her clients. Kelly's primary responsibility to the client is to provide support for both their physical care and their general well-being. She uses various therapeutic techniques to facilitate relief of stress, muscle tension, spasm, and physical and emotional pain. Among her techniques, she may utilize Swedish, Trigger Point, Lymph Drainage, Visceral, Reiki, and Cranial Sacral Therapies. Massage Therapy is one of many ways to work with the body. In her practice, Kelly strives to accomodate each individual with whatever they may need, within her scope of training. Kelly is a member of the National Massage Association.

Outside of Work: Kelly is interested in Special Education, travel, all things dance, and swimming. And if that is not enough, she stays active with yoga, pilates, and wilderness experiences. She is also a regular contributor to Zonta, CARDVA, and Hospice services.
