Training & Education: Ben Maus graduated with a Bachelor's in Psychology from the University of North Dakota. He then attended the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine where he received a Master's in Acupunture and Oriental Medicine in 1991. He obtained his Oregon Acupuncture license that same year. He is certified by the National Committee for Certification of Acupuncturists and is a member of the Oregon Acupuncture Association. Ben joined Dr. Sorah in 1998 as one of the first members of what is now the Northwest Health and Healing Center.

Treatment Philosophy: Ben takes a straightforward, common-sense approach to his practice. By combining his degree in Psychology with his education in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbals, he treats the whole person while addressing specific health care issues.

Outside of Work: Ben works with Hospice when the opportunity arises. He enjoys camping, gardening, woodworking, and spending time in the beautiful mountains and forests of our beautiful Pacific Northwest.
