Massage therapy is the hands-on manipulation of muscles and soft tissues of the body and is used to improve the blood circulation and enhance physical conditioning of the body. It also provides a state of mental relaxation and reduces anxiety. Massage can provide relief from minor sports injuries and repetitive stress injuries.  Medical practitioners are increasingly advising their patients to get massages regularly. A recent survey found Massage Therapy to be the highest ranked of all the Alternative Therapies in terms of effectiveness.
